Nimrodel

Also called 'Lady of the White Grotto', an elf of Lothlórien, the lover of Amroth. She lived near the River Nimrodel, which was named after her.
Nimrodel was one of the Elves who fled from Lothlórien when the Balrog arose in Khazad-dűm. Amroth followed her, and found her in Fangorn Forest. There they had a debate, and Nimrodel said she would marry Amroth when he brought her to a place of peace.
They set out together to an Elf-Haven near Dol Amroth, but somehow they were separated. Amroth arrived, but Nimrodel didn't. It is said she became lost in the White Mountains, and found a river that reminder her of home, and she lay down there to sleep. She fell into a deep sleep and did not reach Belfalas in time to get on the ship with Amroth.
It was one of the companions of Nimrodel who brought elven blood into the line of the Princes of Dol Amroth.
