Well spring is here again and Lorien is under new management, Awelyn418 is our new Head and I am leader beneath her. With spring comes new birth and lots of activity! Spring reading Challenge '08! Read as many books as you can in two months and earn points in literature quizzes to join Lorien's Hall of Fame and win a prize! We are also looking for a new book club book. There is a poll in the Lorien book club forum where you can choose between Chirstopher Paolini's "Eragon", CS Lewis's "Prince Caspian", Or Tolkien's "The Hobbit" We are also begining some new dream projects for our newsletter, So come and join us! Dream with us!

Spring brings many opportunities for new realm activities! Like the Spring Reading Challenge 2006! Read as many books as you can in two months and earn points in literature quizzes to join Lorien's Hall of Fame and win a prize! The Book Club also has the latest poll deciding on the next book we discuss. If you are looking for some fun, we have a brand new RPG to offer. In the kingdom of Breena characters from our favorite books meet. It looks like they are supposed to go on a quest, but so far everything is still a little mysterious... Go and help the other characters to make the right choices and succeed in their mission! Stay tuned for more spring fun yet to come!

TheLadyArwen has sadly stepped down as Realm Head. She is going to study in Asia for some months this year, so I (Aiyana) have taken over the realm now. Before TLA leaves for her exciting trip, she will be Realm Leader for a term. Like this, everything should work out fine, and we hope you still have lots of fun in your realm!

Tis the month of Halloween! Come celebrate with us by going trick-or-treating, telling ghost stories, or sharing your favorite recipes. There's something for everyone! We also have a dream party scheduled for October 30. The theme is partying with the Elves of Mirkwood. Hope to see you there!
