She was very different, I think that’s one of the things I really disliked about the movie character. Her love for Aragorn was played up to much in a misguided attempt to bring some will he/won’t he love triangle tension into the film – no need! It also diluted her motivation, the strong desire to go to war and die a great death, and took something away from the scene where she finally slays the Witchking. It’s also a shame they chose not to show her own love story and how she fell for Faramir, but I see why they didn’t.
