    That’s happened to me before…got stuck in the sand and water was surrounding me…too bad I didn’t have a hobbit to help ME out!

    that was actually away of death used by pirates. They would cover them up to their necks in sand and as the tide came in, the water would seep into the sand, filling in any air pockets and the person would drown slowly.
