Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef1 16 oz. can tomatoes
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 5 oz. package medium egg noodles
1 3 oz. package cream cheese
1 8 oz. carton sour cream
5 green onions, chopped
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Cook ground beef in a large skillet until browned; drain.Drain tomatoes, reserving juice; cut tomatoes into quarters. Add tomatoes, tomato juice, sugar, salt, pepper and tomato sauce to ground beef; heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer 20 min.
Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
Add cream cheese to hot noodles, mixing well. Add sour cream and green onion, stirring well.
Alternate layers of meat mixture and noodle mixture in a lightly greased 2 1/2 qt. casserole, beginning and ending with meat mixture. Top with cheddar cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 min.

Maer aes hen! The ingredients blend well to create an exquisite taste sensation. Sweet from the sugar, a kick from the green onions, and the cream cheese ties it together nicely. We’ll be having this dish often.
Excellent recipe! I was afraid the meat aspect would be a little bland so I added a bit of garlic and oregano. It tastes superb!
