Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup shortening
4 to 6 tablespoons milk
Instructions
Combine first 3 ingredients; cut in butter and shortening with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.Sprinkle milk evenly over surface; stir with a fork just until dry ingredients are moistened. Shape into a ball; cover and chill.
Roll pastry to 1/8-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Fit into an 11-x7 1/2-inch tart pan or into six 4-inch tart pans.
