Ingredients

1 Bag of Garden Rotelle Pasta (or pasta of your choice.)2 or 3 three fresh basil leaves. You can use more or less depending on how much you like basil.1 lemon. Again you may use more depending on your personal preferences.2 tblsps of olive oil1 tsp of saltOptional - 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese

Instructions

Add desired amount of pasta to a pan of boiling water. Cook until pasta is tender. Remove from heat and drain. Pour drained pasta into a mixing bowl, and add olive oil.

Now tear or cut your basil leaves to a small size and add them to the pasta, be sure you do not add the stems.

Cut the lemon in half and squeeze juice into the pasta. Be careful not to get the seeds into the pasta salad. If you don't have a strainer you can squeeze the juice into your free hand and remove the seeds as they come.

Finally pour the salt and half of the parmesan cheese into the bowl with the pasta and mix.

When you have finished mixing pour the rest of the parmesan cheese onto the top of the pasta salad. Garnish with lemon slices, or lemon zest, (grated lemon peelings), and basil leaves.

Note: All of these measurments can be adjusted until you reached your desired flavor.
