Serves: Serves about 12 horses
Prep Time: About 15 minutes prep and 1 hour baking
Difficulty: Easy
Ingredients
10 tbsp. bran OR psyllium husks2 cups chopped alfalfa
4 large carrots, grated
3 tablespoons cooking oil
4 tbsp. molasses
About 1 cup water
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Mix together all ingredients except water, adding only enough to ensure that batter sticks together.
Shape batter into golf ball-sized lumps and place on oiled cookie sheet. Bake about 45 minutes.
There will not be any change in appearance, but they should hold together once cooled.
Your horsey will love you for this!

Has anyone made these for themselves to eat? They sound good, and I’ll probably make a batch for human consumption, as I do not keep any horses. They sound like carrot cake cookies, sort of.
