Question. How can it be called Fudge if it contains no fudge?? Hmm… I don’t know if I’ll try it now.
I made it, and it’s perfect!! beautiful!! delicious!! 🙂 It’s actually encouraging my friends to come visit me!! 🙂
Sounds good, I’ll be sure to try it out!
I loved it!
This is a great recipe! It was really easy too. I ESPECIALLY admire your thoughtfulness in not using chocolate- it didn’t exist in Middle Earth, of course. The peanut butter makes a good substitute, but I don’t think they had that either… oh well, it tastes good.
i woud love to try is this recipe as it sounds gorgeous..unfortunately i have absolutely no idea what marshmallow cream is…slight problem!
if anyone would like to tell me or tell me a substitute please email: [email protected] thanks! hee
you probls should have used honey or something right because they did not have peanutbutter then
i think it sounds great. i might just make it right now:)
*gasp* Really, Artemis? Guess what? They didn’t have fudge in Middle Earth either! Or smoothies, or brownies, or tortillas, etc. Seriously, I can’t tell you how many recipes I’ve seen on here that have nothing to do with M.E. Sheesh.
This looks really easy! And tasty too! You know, I might try it. 🙂
Okay, I made it. This was a very easy recipe, and it tasted good, but the problem was…it wasn’t really fudge; at least not to me. It came out crumbly. I don’t know if I did something wrong or not, but…
Anyways, like I said it was really good, but I wouldn’t call it fudge. More like a candy of some sort. ^^
Vinyaethirwen, what the heck are you talking about? A lot of fudge recipes I’ve seen don’t contain ‘fudge.’ Why would they when it’s the fudge you’re trying to make?
LOL! Y’all are right about not having certain things in Middle Earth. But I seem to remember seeing on the first page of the recipes something that said “These recipes are revised for modern times” Or something like that. So, give the submitter a break.
And Btw, this sounds like a great recipe and I can’t wait to try it. Thanks for submitting it.
After reviewing the recipe, I think I’ll give it another shot. However, I’m gonna try to do it over low heat this time–I think my problem last time was that it was too hot. 😛 Hope it works this time! 🙂
I really loved it. Although, a chill time would have been good.
We don’t really know the foods of Middle Earth do we? Or is that in a book I haven’t found yet. I could see them making fudge in Hobbiton, guess that is the imaginative person in me.
Alak, I find that chilling the fudge around 2 hours works just fine. Or, if you want to be safe, make the fudge at night and chill it over night. 🙂
