History:

Her lineage is a shrouded mystery. She knows very little of her parents. They died of unknown causes when she was just a baby and had been good friends with the elves who brought her to live with her aunt in Rohan. Her aunt was her mother’s sister and only through her did Adrieal lean some things about her mother, but her aunt had never met her father and knows little about him. Her parents were honored guests of the elves, mostly in Lorien and somewhat in Mirkwood, so Adrieal spends time with them often, leaving her aunt’s home in a small village in the Northen most boundries of Rohan for days at a time. The only thing she does know is that both her parents were descendants of the DĂșnedain of NĂșmenor as is her aunt, meaning they are both blessed with long life.

When she was still in her youth, she was visited by the wizard Gandalf. He became her mentor in the arts of wizardry and taught her for about a year and a half in the craft. It was part of an arrangement made with Gandalf and her parents before their death.

Though she is not accomplised in her skills, she knows enough to help those in need. Early, townsfolk came for potions and herbal remedies, but talk of dark sorcery made the humans fear Adrieal and her aunt. As a result, she has few human friends but is always a welcome guest with the elves and with them has many friends and teachers. They gave her the name Linmir meaning “blue jewel” for the necklace of her mother’s, and she sometimes uses that name to those she wishes to hide her true identity from.
