Animals: nothing but the lovely and loyal white mare nicknamed El who is with Adriel in the middle of her long journey, after Adriel saves her one day.

Weapons: bow, sword, and when at the last resort, a dagger. But she is still best with her special weapon- thin, almost invisble-like needles that, if properly thrown, are always swift and sure, killing others quickly and silently.

Personality: when she was small, she was like the most ideal little princess, but after her accident, she was brought far away from where she could continue learning her etiquette. And as Orihin, her adoptive father, wasn't big on teaching manners, and also because living in the isolated wild for nearly 2000 years basically required it, she became quite tomboyish and tough. She hates it too now when people make decisions for her, or flatter her, for she's strong-willed and has her own one-of-a-kind mind that she loves to speak out. So when she met Legolas at first, she was immediately rude to him becuase she had 1. heard from Orihin that when they were young, their parents had wanted them to be actually betrothed (and that's a horrible decision, to her) 2. becuase he loses his words around her and she got really annoyed by that, and 3. as soon as she looked at him she decided instantly that he was the snobby, rich prince type. Plus she is also new to strangers, basically, having not known hardly anyone but Orihin and the animals she played with for 2000 years. But as time went on, Legolas didn't give up on being nice to her, and slowly, as he befriended her, she began to recover her old self, and became more friendly, caring, and unerstanding. By the end of the story she's completely lady-like as she was always meant to be, fixing the hurts that Aeren had created with the gentle hand Aeren should have extended long ago instead. She forgives people, even her enemies,and tries to maintain peace always, for that is what she wants most near the end- after all the toil, sorrow, impossiblities that she and Legolas (and co.) have to go through, she wants there to be eternal peace and joy at last. That is also why she is often quiet and thoughtful, as she paints or strings her harp with her skillful fingers, and also why in the very end she and Legolas escapes to the land that Aeren had long dreamed of; and there they just sit hidden away in the mountains, filling the air with beautiful, quiet songs, and living in peaceful joy forevermore. Yes, Adriel does like to laugh, and sometimes play around (she has a witty sense of humor), if it weren't for all the grief that pressed down on her almost all the time. And she doesn't hold grudges against the enemy, just does keep an eye on those she can't trust, and if needed, she will deal with them however she needs to.

Appearance: Adriel is a fair, beautiful princess (who else could be more perfect for Leggy? lol) She has silky long dark hair and kind eyes the color of the night, and her lips are soft and red. There's a constant faint flush in her cheeks, and her forefront hair curls slightly around and frames her face gently. At night, she can seem to glow faintly with beauty, just like Aeren before her. At first she wore the plain, rugged clothes Orihin made for her with his elderly hands while they lived secluded in the wild, but as soon as Legolas brought her to Rivendell Elrond gifted her with the dresses and jewels she should have had all along, if she only hadn't been hunted down so long ago. (After all, Aeren was also his sister's daughter.) After that, when she is with the Fellowship, she wears those clothes, and some others- if traveling, she'd wear things similar to what Leggy wears but just more feminie and longer, and with altering designs and dif. colors. The tunics are usually high collared, with intricate linings and tracings, and occasionally a silver decoration. Her skirts always go under a belt and past her knees, and her capes always reach her booted feet. She can do her hair in different styles, depending on what she feels like that day, but most frequently you can see her (when in the wild) with a loose ponytail, or half-ponytail. On special occasions (like more formal, or just quiet, maybe romantic times) she wears long, shimmering dresses with velvet and silk of simliar colors, and various headresses, necklaces, etc. After she is persuaded by Legolas, you can always see her with Naryis, the pink stone rose pendant on a silver necklace, around her neck. When traveling again, she walks around with her weapons always slung on her, and a bag Orihin made for her, containing her most cherished possessions- her flute, medicine, harp, and a secret to a great weapon Aeren hid ages ago.
