History:

Andreth (named after the woman who loved and was loved in return by the elf Aegnor) is one of the Dúnedain, born to a family of proud lineage. It has been rumored that somewhere in her father’s bloodline there is a union of Elf and Man and all in that kindred are tall and fair beyond even the measure of the Faithful. Andreth has found no truth in the matter, but the history of a people essentially in exile is often vague and unwritten. Her father was killed in the high passes of the Misty Mountains by a party of marauding orcs before her first year had passed. Though mourning the loss of her husband, Mirithil was lucky in that she already lived on the estate of her own parents, who took on the responsibility of raising the young Andreth. Those years were peaceful, happy ones for the family and Andreth grew quickly, gaining in beauty and wisdom.

In Andreth’s twelfth summer, Mirithil met and married Díthoron, a ranger himself, who had expansive land holdings and cared for his wife’s child as his own. Years passed in the sheltered hollow and surrounding woods; years which found Andreth gallavanting about with no one but her animal friends. She has since come of age and, like her forebears, has taken to wandering and exploring, satisfying the travel lust that thrums through her veins.
