Personality: Rhia, given her peasant background, is ignorant of the larger world around her but is inquisitive of her smaller surroundings. Rhia is personable but knows her place in society. Never will she be found to contradict a man or her superiors and instead remains servile and obedient. Rhia, while uneducated, is bright and quick to pick up on things which others of her station may not. She is a gossip and a flirt, given the company she encounters at the tavern. But she is steadfastly loyal and loving to one man, the sailor Falithor.
Appearance: There is nothing spectacular about Rhiannon’s appearance (Rhia for short). She is slender and willowy, with dark brown hair. Her most arresting feature is her eyes. They are a deep shade of green, comparable to that of forest leaves in summer (or so she has been told). Her face is delicately built, with no lines or wrinkles. Most often, she is found in a dirty grey or brown dress or brocade covered by a white apron.
History:
Born in Minas Tirith to a poor peasant family, Rhiannon works in the local tavern, the Orc’s Bane, and is considered one of the better barmaids. In the constant incomings and outgoings of customers, regular and temporary, Rhia eventually came into the acquaintance of one Falithor, a rogue sailor who frequented the tavern at least once a week when at home. She fell instantly for his rebel ways and looks, and since then, she has looked at no other man with lust or love.
