Fourth DVD clip released

DVD Town has released the fourth and final clip from November’s extended DVD, this time showing one of the extra scenes from the movie itself.

Stuff New Zealand reports that tourism in New Zealand’s South Island is getting ready for another boost once the next movie is released in December. Tourism agencies have already set up “flight-seeing” tours to take LOTR enthusiasts over filming locations.

Third DVD clip released

DVD Town has released the third clip in their series of four from November’s extended DVD. Today’s clip is from the third disc which contains the first part of the documentary material found on the 4 DVD set.

A scientific look at Tolkien’s Middle Earth

Discovery Channel Canada is offering stories on the possible evolution of all Middle Earth creatures by anthropologists, a scientific look at the geography and languages of Middle-earth, and the special effects behind the movie.

In the search button, type in “Lord of the Rings” and click on the second and fourth options. This is available in video, not text.
