A Plea for Help
The donations for the new server have trickled off, and we haven’t received any new ones in a few days 🙁 The site really needs your help to be able to purchase this server — please take a look at the available raffle prizes that have been donated, and if there’s any way you can purchase any raffle tickets to help raise the money for the server, it would be hugely appreciated! Every little bit helps 🙂

I don’t know what it’s like for other non-US resident CoE members, but it is hideously expensive to make transatlantic money transfers from Germany. Would it be an idea to see if other admin members in other countries are willing to collect donations and then transfer the whole lot in one go? That would make it a lot cheaper (since the fees probably are the same irrespective of the amount – at least that’s the case in Germany), and easier for people like myself to donate.
It’s quite impossible for me to contribute. I’d explain, but it’s just too long of a story.

i was able to donate through pay pal i dontated $15 and it cost me less than £10
you can pay by switch and solo from the UK, which is great because i, like alot of students, dont have a credit card
as far as i can tell there was no transfer fee.
also sending a cheque in english £ shouldnt be too much of a problem and the cost of postage to the US isnt much for a single peice of paper. 😀
