Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is nominated for 5 MTV Movie Awards for 2003

Tolkien’s home in Oxford sold for $1.1 million. The high price is attributed to bidding war amongst Tolkien fans. Apparently there is no kitchen or heating! A local Oxford man purchased the house. Read the rest of the story at CNN.

At the Origin Awards, Decipher, the gaming company that makes the Lord of the Rings trading card game, has been nominated twice for its LOTR games by the Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts & Design. If you would like to vote for Decipher go to The Origin Awards. Voting ends June 1, 2003.
