I hope this years Oscars ready for a change, because if “Lord of the Rings-Return of the King” get the Oscar for best picture it will be the first Fantasy picture to win. I also hope PJ get award for best directer because he definatly earned it. I will be in front of my TV. tonight and cheering the movie I love so much. Good Luck RotK.

I didn’t get to watch any of the ceremony except Best Pic, cuz I was out watching RotK in IMAX with my best friend and her lil, annoying bro. My mom said take him too. Anyway, my friend used to be the biggest LotR hater in the wolrd, and now she LOVES it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! w00t!!! My mum taped the awards, so I’m off to watch it now!!! BYE!!!!!!! *skips off, being very happy indeed…*

Peter Jackson said that tonight would close the book on the Lord of the Rings. I am beside myself with joy for him the cast and crew. I am trying to find myself here. Guys its just I have cared about things like these films with this much devotion before. But I have always felt I was on the outside looking in. That I was the only one that saw it that way, as special and perfect. That words would fail to explain my heart, and that I was alone in my admiration. But tonight. Tonight I found out that not only do my ka-bloomies feel this way, but the whole of the world does to. Its not a fantasy film, but a film about love courage hope and friendship. Touchstones of life. I am happy to be here with you all at the End of All Things. It will always live now.

Professor Tolkien brought us to a new world in his wonderful books and all LotR fans all over the world now have these exceptional movies to fall in love with Middle Earth once more. This day does not belong to one person but to all peoples of Middle Earth.
Lets hope this will teach us to bring peace to our world and if we can do that Earth will be truely wonderful.

To be up there with Ben Hur (lets try and forget about titanic shall we…), is AMAZING. I am thrilled that Lord of the Rings has finally been given the Acadamy nod with The Return of the King.
At last Peter Jackson has been given the recognition that he deserves and also congratulations to EVERYONE who was involved in the making of this Film of Films.
I am so proud to be a Tolkien fan today, more than usual, the only thing that dims my joy a little is that the actors didn’t win any of the acting awards. However I’m sure that they all felt proud to be up there with PJ on the night and I am certain that PJ is immensely proud of his cast for their part in bringing Middle Earth to life.!!!!!

I was in tears when Steven S. opened the envelope and said “It’s a clean sweep; The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King!” Nothing could’ve made my night happier unless my boyfriend Ted could’ve been there to watch it with me.
