Lembas for the Soul seeks your true LotR stories
Celevon Elensar, a national award-winning author, is seeking non-fiction LotR-related short stories. Modelled after similar anecdotal books, Lembas for the Soul will feature interesting, funny or moving stories written by the Tolkien fans themselves. All stories must be true and describe how reading the book or watching the film version of The Lord of the Rings has enriched your life. There are further details and submission guidelines at whitetreepress.com.
The proposed deadline for submissions is May 31st

That is totally awesome!
So the dead line is May 31…How do we submit?
I have to say this is a wonderful idea, but I have to ask how are we to submit our tale once its written?
If you go to the “submissions” page, it says that they are still finishing the submission form, so it will be posted relatively soon. Sounds like the deadline isn’t for another 2 months or so.
I’m definitely submitting the letter I sent to OB and posted here!
i’m not a big fan of those ‘chicken soul’ books but this idea sounds so good! I would love to buy this book once it’s published.
LotR definately changed my life and I know that the main reason I am who I am today is because of it. But I don’t think I could write anything about it… it’s more of a life story…. 🙂
O MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!

an afterthought this is a little geeky but so are we lol
(i mean that in the best possible sense of the word)

i’ll shut up now
im not much of a story writer so i probably wont enter but i would like to say LOTR has enriched my life in EVERY way
From The White Tree Press:
The submission form is now active on the submissions page. Please tell all your LOTR friends about it. We look forward to reading your stories!
