New Zealand staging of The Hobbit cancelled
A $10 million stage production of The Hobbit in New Zealand has been cancelled after just 10 shows. Poor reviews and ticket sales have forced the show’s Auckland season to be cancelled just five days before its scheduled opening night. Read more about it here.

I’m very worried that something like that is going to happen to the Toronto musical. The city always pumps money into these things and then they end up with a mess on their hands *sigh*. I just really, really hope it all works out.
