Tolkien item on display in London
A revolver carried by Tolkien in the First World War is on display at the Imperial War Museum in London as part of an exhibition on the Battle of the Somme. The revolver will not only be shown in the museum, but will also be an online exhibit, which should open on June 1, 2006. Wow, this is interesting. I’m very interested in war history, and visiting the Imperial War Museum has now become a dream for me – and now they even mix two things I’d love to know more about. I so wish I could go!
