Ian McKellen to play Gandalf again?
On his official website Sir Ian McKellen has revealed that he is very likely to play Gandalf in the Hobbit. He says, “Yes I will, if Peter Jackson and I have anything to do with it, he being the producer and me being, on the whole, a very lucky actor.” It is believed that a contract has not yet been signed, but it looks like we will be seeing the original Gandalf again. Wahoo! I’m so glad it turned out this way, it just had to happen, or else there would have been a backlash!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43sbtkQM6zc <-- Ian explains how he's so good at acting. (It's a hilarious clip from the TV show Extras, in which actors take the mickey out of themselves for the most part). Just a little something to celebrate Sir Ian!
Yeah! I actually read it in the paper today, and I think it’s great 😀 I really hope he gets to play Gandalf again, and if he don’t that’s gonna annoy me a lot, but i’ll look forward to seeing the film anyway. I just have to get time to read the book first .. 😉
This is great news, because Ian = Gandalf. Gandalf = Ian. I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing him.
3 cheers for Gandalf!
YAY!!! He’s going to play Gandalf again!!! The Hobbit wouldn’t be the same without him. Now, I hope we hear from Hugo Weaving and especially Andy Serkis, too.
