‘Hobbit’ movie not to be a LOTR bridge

EmpireOnline.com talked to both Peter Jackson and Guillermo Del Toro, and both producer (Jackson) and director (del Toro) say that the Hobbit movie will not be a film that bridges the 60-year gap into the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
“We’ve decided to have The Hobbit span the two movies, including the White Council and the comings and goings of Gandalf to Dol Guldur,” says Del Toro.
“We decided it would be a mistake to try to cram everything into one movie.” adds Jackson.

Sorry for the downtime

As you can see, we were down for a bit. It would seem that we were hacked, and the hackers completely wiped out our database. Thankfully, being the smart people we are, we have a backup. It’s 6 days old, so there will be some stuff missing from the last few days…sorry about that, but at least we haven’t lost everything! In the meantime, Len (the server guy) and I will be looking into how they did it, and trying to keep it from happening again!
