The Hobbit – filming to start in March 2010
Guillermo del Toro has confirmed that filming of The Hobbit movies will start in March 2010 and will last for about 370 days. The first film is due for release in 2011 and the second in 2012. He has revealed that the end of the first film will include landscapes not seen in the LotR trilogy and the second film will “have landscapes which are completely different from the “Lord of the Rings”.
