Filmmaker Del Toro to give ‘Hobbit’ new look
After the huge success of the “Rings” series, Jackson is now working on adapting the J.R.R. Tolkien fantasy novel that takes place before the trilogy. But this time the Oscar-winning New Zealand filmmaker is producing and working on the script, relinquishing directing duties to Del Toro, whose credits include “Pan’s Labyrinth” and the two “Hellboy” movies.

This is very interesting … I’m excited to see how Del Toro will picture ‘The Hobbit’ compared to PJ’s vision …
I’m really interested to see what Dell Toro will do with The Hobbit. He’s other movies are really good and I think he will do a great job.
I am excited to see what Del Toro will do with it. I have not seen many of his movies so I’m hoping that it will live up to what PJ has set for the standard with LoTR. And when are we ever going to find out who Bilbo will be?
This is so great! I knew sir PJ would be interested in making The Hobbit too! It’s lovely!
I only hope that Del Toro would keep Peter Jackson’s style.
