Elijah Wood in Talks to Join The Hobbit
According to reports on the web, Elijah Wood, who played Frodo Baggins in Jackson’s three-part version of Tolkien’s later tome, is in talks to join the cast of the new film, The Guardian reports. It is being suggested that Frodo will appear in a framing device for Jackson’s film, reading from a book telling the story of The Hobbit in order to place it in the same filmic universe as The Lord of the Rings.

Yay!! It’s so good have our Lij back!
I think it’s an interesting idea. 🙂
Looks like the movies will have more surface to LotR than previously thought. With this speed they need to figure out another name than the Hobbit, because there’s so much more to it. LOL! But it’s all about Middle-Earth and a lot of it, what more can you ask?
NOOOOOOOOOOOO
*Breaths*
NOOOOO!
OK,over reacting. But I’d really rather have Bilbo or Gandalf narrating than Frodo. If Frodo was in it,I would prefer a little Frodo being read to by Bilbo. Which would be cute really…
But call me biased. I’m not a fan of MOVIE!Frodo.
It’s good news to me. I loved EW as Frodo, even if not always the script he got. I am looking forward to what scene they devise for him.
I just hope they have an option NOT to see it in 3D.
I think it is a great idea to make it tie in… but Frodo narrating the Hobbit? No… I would rather someone else.
