Hobbit Press Conference
Stars of The Hobbit, including Martin Freeman and James Nesbitt, took part in a press conference in New Zealand where they discussed the forthcoming movies and said that they cannot wait for filming to begin. You can view some footage of the press conference at BBC.co.uk, Stuff.co.nz and at Telegraph.co.uk. There’s a 38 minute video of the press conference at 3news.co.nz.
Peter Jackson was unable to join in, but released a statement saying that he could not attend “because he was under a “medical form of house arrest” while recovering from surgery on a perforated stomach ulcer”.

I see same kind of fellowship and dedication forming between these guys as I saw it forming between “Fellowship of the Cast”. They really seem to be loose and easy in each others’ company. It’s fun to watch. 😀
I’m glad they’re keeping the singing from the books in the movie!
Yes!!! Hurrah for singing! and our heart-throb dwarf Thorin is growing a beard–it’s cool that this is full circle for RA as far as acting goes!
