Hobbit extras?
James Nesbitt has said that that he accepted the part of Bofur on the condition that his two daughters, aged 10 and 13, could be extras in the movies. You can read the full story here. There’s also an interview at Digital Spy in which James talks about the movies and reveals that he wasn’t a fantasy film fan before joining the cast of The Hobbit.

Hmm, I don’t blame him. They probably need extras too. I mean, they did have hobbit children in the first movie. So maybe they could play elvish children or something. Just as long as they don’t change the story line to include them. I don’t think it should be a problem.
They could be in the scene when Bilbo comes home and his house is being auctioned off.
