Peter Jackson posts Hobbit Production Video #4
Peter Jackson has posted a new production video from the set of ‘The Hobbit’. The video, much of which was filmed in a psychedelically painted Mirkwood, discusses many of the technical aspects of filming in 3-D and includes appearances from Gandalf (Ian McKellen), Elrond (Hugo Weaving) and Bilbo (Martin Freeman), along with Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) and most of his Dwarven companions. Umm… there’s an error there. Thorin is played by Richard Armitage. Cumberbatch is playing Smaug …
I found it quite funny when Peter gave names to each of his cameras. Is this a way of easily locating where each scene is filmed? There were some nice shots of Bilbo, Gandalf, Elrond and the rest of the cast.
I really like how Peter Jackson is posting all of these production videos for us to see. This movie can’t come fast enough!
