Enjoy your viewing and tell us what its like in 48fps 3D!
I’m now anxiously awaiting the The Desolation of Smaug..
What really surprised me the most was reaching the end of the movie. There was so much going on that it just didn’t feel like almost 3 hours had passed. The 3-d was excellent and I saw nothing at all to justify any of the complaints that some reviewers made about 48 fps causing nausea etc. (The last film with camera work that made me nauseous was The Blair Witch Project)
I’m not sure whether some of the plot changes were necessary, such as the addition of Azog, but I was completely satisfied with the results.
Yes I was a bit puzzled by the use of Azog too, when we have Bolg at Five Armies. I certainly didn’t think the movie dragged or was too slowpaced though, as you said I didn’t notice the time passing 🙂
