The name in Adûnaic of the eighteenth of the Kings of Númenor. He was the son of Tar-Alcarin. Belzagar was the first king whose name was spoken aloud in the Adûnaic tongue without fear by his people. His name in Quenya was Tar-Calmacil. He was succeeded by his son Tar-Ardamin or Ar-Abattârik.

*Note* According to the "Tale of Years" in Appendix B of "The Lord of the Rings", the name of Belzagar's son was Ar-Adûnakhôr, but in the "Line of Elros" in "Unfinished Tales" his son is listed as Tar-Ardamin.
