Ar-Zimraphel was the daughter and only child of the twenty-fourth king Tar-Palantir or Ar-Inziladûn. Zimraphel was the name given to her in Adûnaic by her husband Ar-Pharazôn, or Tar-Calion, after he took her to wife against her will and stole the sceptre from her rightful hands. She would have been the fourth of the Ruling Queens of Númenor and the twenty-fifth ruler of the Line of Elros. Her name in Quenya was Míriel.
