Bar-Erib was one of several strongholds surrounding Amon Rûdh, where Túrin and his most loyal followers lived in the home of Mîm the dwarf. Bar-Erib was positioned to the south of Amon Rûdh, and all of Túrin's followers lived in the region of Dor-Cúarthol.
