Also called the City of the Trees, the Heart of Elvendom on Earth, and the City of the Galadhrim. Caras Galadhon was the home of Galadriel and Celeborn.

It consisted of a tall green wall around a hill covered with the tallest mallorn trees imaginable. The wall had a set of gates on the south-west side, and a white paved path running around the outside of the wall. Inside, there was a wide lawn, with a fountain lit by silver lamps. On the south side of the lawn was the biggest mallorn of all, and it was here that Celeborn and Galadriel had their talan.

The Fellowship stopped here for a while before continuing on their journey.
