One of the ravens of Erebor. Father of Roäc, and friendly with the Dwarves of the Lonely Mountain who respected him for his wisdom.

Carc  and his wife nested above the guard-post on Ravenhill and were the parents of  Roäc, who aided Thorin and Company before the Battle of Five Armies.
