Egalmoth of Gondor
Egalmoth was the son of Ecthelion I, and the father of Beren of Gondor. Egalmoth was the eighteenth of the Ruling Stewards of Gondor.
During his time Orcs began to trouble Gondor again, and his armies went to war with them. In TA 2710 Egalmoth received a plea for aid from Déor of Rohan. Déor was troubled by the Dunlendings, but because of the war with the Orcs, Egalmoth could not send aid.
Egalmoth was succeeded as Steward by his son Beren of Gondor.
