Hallatan was the Lord of Hyarastorni in the Mittalmar (Inlands) of Númenor. He was a descendant of Elros Tar-Minyatur, through King Vardamir.

It was Hallatan's son, Hallacar, who was wed to the first of the Ruling Queens of Númenor, Tar-Ancalimë.
