'The Hallows' was a little used name for the part of Minas Tirith where the great of Gondor were laid to rest after death. It would appear the Hallows included Fen Hollen, the Closed Door, Rath Dínen, the Silent Street, and the Houses of the Dead. All rested at the end of the sixth tier of Minas Tirith.
