Ladros was a the name of a land that lay to the northeast of Dorthonion. It was, for a time, held by those of the House of Bëor.

The region of Ladros was almost certainly at one time a part of Finrod's realm, having been held by his brothers Angrod and Aegnor. Finrod gifted that land later to Boromir son of Boron, at that time, the leader of the House of Bëor, whose people had long been friends and allies of Finrod.

There were only three Lords of Ladros: Boromir son of Boron, his son Bregor, and then his son Bregolas.

Ladros lasted only that short time because, during Bregolas' lordship, Morgoth waged war with those there and in Dorthonion, during the Dagor Bragollach.

Bregolas was slain, but his brother Barahir lived, and with 12 men, was able to assail the servants of Morgoth for a time.

After the betrayal of Barahir by Gorlim the Unhappy, only Beren survived, and not much later, after the lands were taken under the Great Sea at the end of the First Age, Ladros was no more.
