Lotho Sackville-Baggins was the only son of Otho Sackville-Baggins and Lobelia Sackville-Baggins.

He was teased by other young hobbits because he had pimples on his face. Soon after Frodo had left with the Ring, Lotho was the one who began the bad work in the Shire, presumably because of Saruman's influence over him. During the War of the Ring, Lotho briefly became the leader of the Shire while it was under the control of Saruman.

Lotho was murdered by Gríma Wormtongue.
