That portion of the Dead Marshes that encroached upon, and swallowed up, part of the battlefield burial grounds on the Dagorlad. At night, in the pools in this portion of the marsh, the spirits of dead men, elves and orcs could be seen floating just under the surface, looking as though they were lit up by candlelight.
