Miruvor was the reviving drink of the Elves. It was a colourless liquid with a pleasent fragrance and had the power to boost the heaviest of hearts.

Elrond gave this to Gandalf before he set out from Rivendell with the Fellowship, and it was used by them on Caradhras.
