The last King of Khazad-dûm from 1980-81 of the Third Age and the son of Durin VI.
Náin I was slain by the Balrog a year after its first appearance when it killed Durin. Following his death the Dwarves abandoned Moria and fled into the North, led by his son Thráin I.
