"White-flower". Nimloth, the White Tree of Númenor, was a descendant of Celeborn of Eressëa. He grew in the court of the King in Númenor until he was ordered cut down by Sauron. A fruit of the tree survived the Downfall of Númenor, and became a holy symbol of the Realms in Exile.

Nimloth is etymologically identifiable with Ninquelótë, a name for Telperion.
