The Púkel-men were the carved stones on the road to Dunharrow thought to have been made by the Drúedain.

The Drúedain had great skills in carving stone, and out of it they would at times make images of themselves. They placed these watcher-stones on the roads and paths of their lands.

Sometimes the word Púkel-men was used to describe the Drúedain themselves, as well as the watcher-stones they created.
