The final resting place of Elendil, slain during the battle with Sauron during the Last Alliance of Elves and Men. Elendil's son and heir Isildur chose the location for the tomb atop Halifirien, the beacon hill nearest Rohan. Its position was kept secret and the tomb was eventually lost.

The tomb's location was only discovered many centuries later, and it became known as the Secret of the Hill.
