Uinéniel was the name given to Erendis by Valandil, who at the time was the Lord of Andúnië. When he named her this, Erendis said that she would never go under such a name. She said that she wasn't any daughter of Uinen, but rather a foe of her.

Uinéniel meant 'Daugher of Uinen'.
