Their 1st day of school begins………..

Frodo: But uncle Bilbo! I don’t want to go to school!

Bilbo: Now Frodo, my lad you will love it! *puts on hobbit pack and walks Frodo to school*

Frodo: But I want to listen to your stories, Bilbo!

Bilbo: *Arrives at the school* Frodo, you will love it. Now we’re already here at the school. You have fun now! Bye!

*Bilbo leaves and walks back to Bag End. Frodo sighs and ties his pony up, then enters the hobbit school. He finally sees Merry and Pippin at a table*

Frodo: Hey Merry, Pippin. How come your hair is messy?

Merry: Because we were trying to fake sick. My mommy and daddy didn’t buy it.

Pippin: Mine neither. I don’t want to be here! Hey Frodo, where’s Sam?

Frodo: He should be here………I guess.

*Sam finally comes in the classroom. He sighs and puts his things in his cubbie, then sits at the table with Frodo, Merry, and Pippin*

Pippin: Sam? It didn’t work for your parents either?

Sam: Nope. Not at all. *He sighs, then looks at Rosie*

Pippin: *Whispers to Merry* I think Sam’s in love.

Merry: *Looks at Pippin and rolls his eyes* Yes, he’s in love.

Frodo: Shhh, class is beginning!

*The teacher comes in. She is fairly young, looks at about the age of 30. Merry and Pippin snicker, while Frodo and Sam sit quietly*

Teacher: Good morning class. My name is Ms. Trample. I am going to be your teacher for the rest of the year. Now, I have a list here of your names. Raise your hand or say here when I call your name. Frodo Baggins?

Frodo: Here!

Teacher: Rosie Cotton?

Rosie: *Raises hand*

Teacher: Samwise Gamgee?

Sam: Right here!

Teacher: Meridoc Brandybuck?

Merry: Here, and they call me Merry!

Teacher: I’ll make a note on that. Diamond Of Long Cleeve?

Diamond: Here!

Teacher: Peregrin Took?

Pippin: Here, call me Pippin!

Teacher: *Nods and calls all the other names. After she is done, she goes over the hobbit calendar, when she is slightly disturbed by Merry and Pippin who were chattering* Merry, Pippin? Is it something you would like to share with the class?

Merry: Ummmm, no Ms. Trample. *snickers slightly and whispers to Pippin* They probably call her Ms. Trample because she got trampled over by ponies!

Pippin: *snickers and whispers back* Yeah, and she tramples over flowers!

*Awkward silence. Frodo, Sam, and Merry look at Pippin. They shake their heads*

Pippin: What? What is it? *Is slightly confused why they shook their heads*

Merry: Nothing, Pip. Let’s just listen to the teacher.

*After a few hours of teaching it was time for the hobbits recess*
