A strong fierce wind shook the Fellowship, all that is except Legolas. While the rest of the Fellowship struggled through four feet of snow, he walk on top of it. Aragorn look to the sky to see that the storm clouds not only carried snow but lighting.
Aragorn shouted, ” Legolas, what do your elf eyes see?” Just as he finnished, Legolas walked towards the head of the line. As he passed Gimli he heard “show off”, come from the dwarf. Finnally he stopped near Gandalf. All that he could see was clouds, however, what he heard was more important. “There is a foul voice from beyond my sight”, Legolas said in a soft but strong voice. Suddenly Gandalf yelled ” It is Saruman!” Just then, a lighting bolt struck the mountain, causing a lot of snow to fall on to the Fellowship. After a few moments, Aragorn’s head popped out of the snow. As he looked around, he was suprised to find out that he was the first one out of the snow and not Legolas. All of a sudden, he heard his name called below. He got to the edge just in time to see Legolas lose his grip and fall. Aragorn was about to yell his friend’s name when lighting struck the mountain again. Boromir shouted ” We can not stay here! this will be the death for the halflings!” Then Gandalf noticed that Legolas was missing. “Where is Legolas?” Sadly Aragorn said
“He fell”. Gimli sudden shouted ” Let us go through the Mines of Moria.” Gandalf said ” Let the Ringbear decide”, looking in Frodo’s direction. Slowly he said, ” I would say let us go through the Mines of Moria, if I were the Ringbear, but I’m not.
The Ring is missing!”
