I wonder if there’s another path
I hear the cries of those I care for
I see their blood, their pain- and then, their silence
I want this all to end…

I pretend that I can restart this ruined life
I feel that dream so close;
I touch its skin- it’s so delightful!
I worry that it’ll fade-
I cry when I wake up again
I am the young female warrior.

I understand what you did- there’s no victory without sacrifice
I say that I don’t care, and that I never will
I dream that I can stop this miserable lying!
I try to prevail, to embrace victory at last
I wish I could hold you in my arms again! But alas….
