Ch.1 Portal in my Basement

This morning I was bored so I was going to down to the basement to find my cats. However as I came down I saw a big hole in the wall. Through the hole I saw a Lord of the Rings looking place with vast hills (I guessed it to be somewhere near Rohan). As I was staring at it, I realized that Legolas and Aragorn were now in my basement! So I came over to say hi, but as I did my cat (named Precious) came over so I could pet her. So I’m standing there in front of the two people whom I love who are from Middle-Earth with a cat on my shoulder wearing a T-shirt with blue jeans. I guess they thought me to be weird because Aragorn started to speak very slowly and loudly in English.

“HEL-LOW, I AM AR-A-G-ORN, WHO ARE YOU? WE NE-ED TO GO TO RO-HAN” “DO YOU UN-DER- ST-AND?”

At first I just stare at him, because I think he’s so hot! Then when I come back to the real world (well not really the real world) I tell him in an excited and squeaky voice,
“Hi I’m Sierra, and yes I understand. However I don’t know were Rohan is… from here.”

At first the man just stares at me then he says, “Uh-huh”

“So ummmm… Where are we umm… Where are we umm… Right now?”

“Uuuuugh… I can’t… I’m not… I mean I uuugh not sure I can explain it to you.” (How do you explain to Aragorn and Legolas where they are?)

“Sure you can,” said Legolas.

“Uggggh… no I don’t think I can.”
“Sure you can.”

“Ummm… No.”
“But why not?”

“Well, it’s kind of hard to explain.”

“C’mon it can’t be that hard?” Aragorn asked.

“Well, actually it is. You see we are in an unknown world called uuuugh The United States (?).” (The United States is a world?) “Oookaaaay, see that wasn’t too hard,” Aragorn said. Then he realized he didn’t know where The United States was or what it was. As he thinks this Legolas is getting very board so he asks me a question…

“Sooo… I don’t think I’ve ever been here before… I don’t even think I’ve even heard of this United States… So would you be so kind to show me around?”

“Ummm, don’t you want to ask to Aragorn first?” “Uuuugh, no not really he’s probably just going to stand there until he figures it out.”

“Ummm, okay… So ugh, should we just leave him down here or what?”

“Yes that’s exactly what we should do.”

This wasn’t how I remembered Legolas… I thought he was a lot brighter than this… A lot brighter…

“Oh no!” I moaned.

“What?” asked Legolas, oblivious…

“OH NO!” I groaned.

“What?!”

“We’re in a fan fiction… aren’t we?”

Aragorn looked up. His eye was twitching.

“NOOOOO!!!!” He gripped his head and fell to the ground. He lay on the ground, and he kept on twitching, it was very strange. So I stepped back from him.

“No, no, no, Aragorn! This isn’t a fan fiction! This is just a- just a-” As Legolas searched for the right words, he leaned over and whispered to me. “Help me out here!”

“Ugh, this is just a dream…” (Everyone has used that one…haven’t they?)

“Yeah! This is just a dream. Now Aragorn calm down.” Legolas tapped his shoulder.

“Really?” he asked like a child would ask if there were no such things as monsters.

“Really.”

Aragorn stood back up. He brushed the dust and dirt off his shoulder.

“Okay, dreams are okay… Can I wake up now?”

“No!” I said.

“Why?” he asked.

“Cause I want to show you my world.”

Aragorn got that look in his eye again. Then he pointed and glared at Legolas.

“You lied to me.”

“How else do I get to stop you from freaking out the alien?” Legolas said.

“Excuse me?” (He called me an Alien, he should be punished.)

“Um,” Legolas then realized he offended me, so he tried to rephrase.

“The, strange human-noid being…” I then just stared at him blankly.

Then I said, “Close enough… Come on, let me show you around… If I take time by doing that then the fan fiction will be over before anything could happen.”

“What do you mean by that?” Legolas asked. He looked frightened this time… I then thought of all the fan fiction I’ve read before… Oh… I got it… Fangirls…

“I mean, that I won’t let any fangirls attack you….”

“How do I know that you’re not a fangirl?” he asked me… I smirked.

“I am a fangirl.”

Legolas screamed and jumped straight up. He grabbed the rafter thingy and held on.

“Don’t worry I won’t attack you, or chase you… I may be a fangirl, but I have impulse control!” *super hero music in the background*

“Hey I believe this kid!” Aragorn said.

Legolas trembled. “How can you be sure?”

“If she was a fangirl she would have chased you down and tied you to a chair already…”

Legolas came down from his haven. He looked at me, his eye barely twitching.

“I’m going to trust you… but-“, he shuddered. “Please keep your promises.”

“I’ll do my best!” Legolas narrowed his eyes. But instead he asked a question.

“Well? Are you going to show us around, or what?”

“Okay! Let’s go!” I sat my cat down and walked up the stairs.
